Favorite dashboards and metrics

Star the dashboards and metrics you use most, then filter and sort Explorer to find them fast

Star the dashboards and metrics you use most, so they're easy to find in Explorer.

Favorites are personal: only you see yours, and starring something doesn't change it for anyone else. Each brand has its own favorites, and anyone with access to a brand can use them, including viewers.

Favorite a dashboard or metric

You can star a whole dashboard, or a single metric on a dashboard.

  • In Explorer: hover a card and click the star in its top-right corner.

  • On a dashboard: click the star at the top right, next to the ⋯ menu. While you edit a dashboard's layout, the star is hidden until you save or cancel.

  • On a saved metric: click the star to the right of the Save button.

A filled star means it's a favorite. Click it again to remove it.

Show only your favorites

Click Favorites, next to the Dashboards menu. It narrows the list to the kind you're looking at:

  • Dashboards: your favorite dashboards.

  • Metrics: your favorite metrics.

  • All: both.

Favorites never changes the kind for you. If you have no favorite dashboards but do have favorite metrics, the list offers Show favorite metrics (and the other way round).

Favorites come first

Explorer lists your favorites first by default. Click Sort to choose Favorites first, Last edited or Name.

When you star or unstar something, the list doesn't move under your pointer. The new order shows the next time you change the sort or a filter, or open Explorer again.

The Sort menu open, with Favorites first, Last edited and Name

That's favorites: your most-used dashboards and metrics, one click away.
