How do brand statuses affect data collection in Scrunch?

Understanding how brand status impact data collection in Scrunch (i.e. what does Customer vs Prospect vs Archived mean?)

Overview of Brand Statuses

In Scrunch, brands can be assigned one of three statuses:

  1. Customer: Indicates an active customer account.

  2. Prospect: Used for demo or evaluation purposes.

  3. Archived: Represents inactive or no longer relevant brands.

Data Collection for Each Status

Customer

Brands with the Customer status benefit from ongoing data collection. This ensures that responses are continuously gathered to provide up-to-date insights for the brand.

Prospect

For brands set to Prospect status, data collection occurs only once. Scrunch collects responses for a single cycle to populate the dashboard for demo or evaluation purposes. After this initial collection, no further data is gathered.

Archived

Archived brands do not receive any new data collection. This status is typically used for brands that are no longer active or relevant.

Implications for Account Management

  • Customer Status: Ideal for brands requiring continuous insights and regular updates.

  • Prospect Status: Suitable for short-term evaluations or demonstrations.

  • Archived Status: Helps maintain a clean and organized account by deactivating irrelevant brands.

By understanding these statuses, you can better manage your brands and ensure that data collection aligns with your business needs.
